The floors were extremely unlevel, exhibited numerous open holes, and penetrations, and lacked the capacity to support additional weight. Floor Technologies applied Maxxon Moistop to partially waterproof the floors and utilized leveling pegs to gauge the required fill thickness. To minimize weight, up to 3 inches of cellular concrete was used instead of Gyp-Crete. Given the open truss design, a sound mat was then installed over the cellular concrete for sound mitigation. Over the sound mat, Maxxon MR was applied to reinforce the Gyp-Crete, followed by pouring up to 1-1/2 inches of Multifamily flooring.
